The Albanian Fashion Designers Association (AFDA) is a non-profit organization founded since November 1997. The AFDA is governed by its own by- laws in the framework of its status and program approved by its board and local Court. The AFDA controls and coordinates the development of Albanian Fashion through out training, events and fashion shows. The AFDA is the only fashion body in the country recognized by Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Albania. During all these years the AFDA has successfully implemented many projects and shows sponsored by its own budged and by different Albanian and foreign companies.

Recently Albanian Fashion Designer Association has become one of the founders of European Fashion Council founded on May 2007 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Member of this Council are most well known companies and organization from countries such as: Austria, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Finland, Estonia, Hungary etc.
Some of our successfully implemented project are:

·	Albanian fashion show Spring 1999;

·	Training of new fashion designers,

·	Studying new Trend of Fashion in Albania

·	Albanian Fashion Week

AFDA is a volunteer based organization and in its compound are participating the most well-known fashion designers and patternmaker's in Albania. By participating in AFDA they are working hard to establish the Albanian Fashion
